Sundays at Witney Community Church
We love to meet as a church family to share time together with God and one another. We gather in person with live stream to zoom, and occassional community events or services fully on zoom, see our diary page for up to date information! All services are recorded and available on our YouTube channel.
Where & When
Our Sunday meetings are at The King's School, New Yatt Road, OX29 6TA. Refreshments are served from 10:00 and the services begins at 10.30am. To request the zoom link for the live stream if you are unable to come in person, email witney@rootsandrivers.uk
Each week, the talk is also available for catchup on the WCC YouTube channel.
What to expect
Everyone is welcome, come as you are! Our services include times of worshipping God through singing, prayer, sharing stories and teaching from the Bible. In our Zoom meetings we also split into breakout rooms for the opportunity to share and pray together in smaller groups.
What about children?
There are children’s and youth groups most weeks, and a creche space for parents with under 5s, with a live stream of the service.
What is a Life Group?
During the week we meet together in small groups. This gives us space to explore the reality of walking with Jesus in our daily lives. The small groups are also times for us to pray together, eat together and make friends. The Bible talks about Christians ‘sharing life’ together so our small groups are places where we can get to know each other and encourage one another. They are also a place for support – both practically and spiritually.
When and Where?
We have groups meeting in and around Witney most days during the week. Most groups meet in the evening (around 7.45pm) but there are also a few that meet during the day.
